In this paper, the author argues that NATO's ‘victory’ in Libya is far from being a convincing one. He notes that the political and diplomatic start to the Libya intervention was disastrous. He states that the campaign was waged with scant financial resources, the military means mobilized were insufficient, the dependence on specialized US assets has been constant, 'victory’ was achieved practically by a whisker, and the option to assist also Jihadist forces for the sake of victory had surfaced again.
