On May 20-21, 2012 NATO Heads of State and Government met in Chicago to address 'old' agenda items handed down from Lisbon and new topics which have emerged since then. Three political developments have strongly modified the international security agenda and are likely to be discussed: revolutions in the Arab world, the international financial crisis and then newly emerging debate on transatlantic burden sharing.
