The Armed Forces Bill passed to the House of Lords in June 2011. No amendments to the Bill were passed during the initial Lords stages, but six amendments were agreed at Third Reading which took place on 10 October, including several tabled or supported by the Government. Those amendments largely related to the Armed Forces Covenant, although one also examined the issue of Commonwealth medals.
