This roundtable report summarizes the proceedings of the SDA's April 2004 conference on future military threats and how Europe should respond to them. The panelists examine the notion of European security, placing particular emphasis on the continued threat of nuclear proliferation. They also consider the role of intelligence gathering in maintaining security in Europe, and discuss the information sharing mechanisms created to underpin the EU's Common Foreign and Security Policy.
