This bioterrorism report summarizes the proceedings of the SDA's October 2004 Bioterrorism Reporting Group meeting on the creation of viable infrastructures to counter biological terrorism. The panelists discuss the lack of efficient vaccines for many bioterror agents; the state of EU disease surveillance; and the need for consensus building on European counterterrorist policies. The report also includes written contributions from selected speakers.
