This book is concerned with the diversity debate in the context of Europe, and analyzes diversity both as a concept and as a policy. The epicenter of the analysis is the link between the spheres of diversity-concepts and diversity-policies. The book explores how the concept of diversity orientates policies and management, and also how public/private management facilitates new policy orientations. As such, the book enhances conceptual thinking on diversity, but also facilitates policy thinking on the concept involved in novel policy orientations towards diversity.
