This analysis of the first round of summits warns that EU leaders might not be able to deliver (all) the expected results in response to the 2011 euro crisis. The final outcome of the current summit marathon will have to be evaluated on the basis of whether EU leaders have added essential ingredients to an already very complex crisis recipe and whether they have been able to sketch a more ambitious and persuasive road map that boosts confidence and provides orientation in the weeks and months to come.
