The final report of the Independent Inquiry Committee into the United Nations Oil-for-Food Programme presents the investigative findings and conclusions in the case of alleged unethical practices in conjunction with the UN program in Iraq. The report states that United Nations was ill-equipped to handle the $ 64 billion scheme and criticizes the role played by UN Secretary General Kofi Annan. The report suggests that the UN must undergo sweeping reforms in order to prevent such widespread corruption from occurring again within the organization.
