This brief brings looks at India's internal security threats. The authors argue that dealing with these threats requires a comprehensive national security strategy that synthesizes all elements of national power. Such a strategy should outline the various dimensions of national security, include an assessment of the government with regard to the prevailing national security environment and articulate the steps needed to deal with the threats.
