This report summarizes the conclusions of a study that was initiated at the beginning of 2010 on the future of India-US relations in the coming decade. The Strategic Partnership of 2005 laid out a roadmap for the two countries in the areas of economic growth and trade promotion, energy and the environment, democracy and development, non-proliferation and security, and high-technology and Space. The authors argue that the bilateral relationship laid the foundation for cooperation on a wide spectrum of issues, but that the different aspects of the Partnership are still running at an uneven pace.
