This report summarizes the discussion on the findings of the Atlantic Council's report titled "The Transatlantic Economy in 2020: A Partnership for the Future?." The report is the result of a visit by a senior delegation from the Atlantic Council of the United States to key government, parliamentary and private sector stakeholders in Frankfurt, Berlin and Brussels in spring 2005. The report is chiefly concerned with how the US and EU member states, especially Germany, are to overcome their economic weaknesses and improve cooperation. The report concludes with several recommendations to the actors involved.
