This report provides a snapshot analysis of the implications of the Arab Spring for NATO. The uprising against regimes in Northern Africa and the Middle East came as a surprise even for NATO, which is deeply involved in the area through its various partnership programs like the Mediterranean Dialogue and the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative. The authors sketch possible steps the organization could take in response to the situation.
