This is a transcript of the third session of the 2010 'UK and the World Conference'. The speakers argue that Britain must help shape a changing world rather than merely react to it. They discuss Britain's new direction in foreign and military policy and point out that the UK’s essential minimum deterrence and nuclear capabilities must be maintained. The discussion also addresses the UK's bilateral relations with the US and Europe.
