In light of the UK incumbency of the EU Presidency in the second half of 2005, the authors present the challenges the EU faces in the aftermath of failed French and Dutch referenda on the Constitutional Treaty. The authors contend that the most pressing issues for the UK will be the Constitutional Treaty, future financing and various enlargement issues.
