This paper documents Sector Budget Support (SBS) in the education sector in Uganda. It forms part of a broader research study commissioned by the Strategic Partnership with Africa (SPA) Task Team on Sector Budget Support. The research covers ten sector case studies from six different countries. The purpose is to draw together experience of SBS in order to guide future improvements in policy and practice by partner countries and donors as a means to enhance the effectiveness of SBS in improving sector outcomes.
