These reports, written by a variety of experts in Asian affairs, focus on Asian political, security and economic developments in the fourth quarter of 2001. Each article is accompanied by a chronology of significant events occurring during the quarter. A regional overview section places bilateral relationships in a broader context of regional relations. This journal illuminates patterns in Asian bilateral relations that and better defines the impact bilateral relationships have upon individual countries and on regional security.
