This report examines how the US can meaningfully contribute to global efforts to expand clean energy access and eradicate energy poverty in ways that are consistent with global climate protection goals. In view of the political, fiscal and economic environment in the US today, the policy recommendations center on ideas to catalyze private-sector know-how and investment to contribute meaningfully to the eradication of energy poverty and expansion of clean energy solutions.
