This report used Arabic media sources to study the victims of al‐Qaeda’s violence through a non‐Western prism. The report concludes that non‐Westerners are much more likely to be killed in an al‐Qaeda attack. During the period 2006-2008, a person of non‐Western origin was 54 times more likely to die in an al‐Qaeda attack than an individual from the West.
