This journal issue examines prominent topics pertaining to the security agenda in the Middle East. The articles address Iran's naval maneuvers in the Strait of Hormuz, the Israeli-Palestinian relationship, the public opinion with regards to the political leadership in Israel, US foreign policy for Middle East during Obama's presidency, the withdrawal of the US Forces, the current challenges faced by Hezbollah and an analysis of the concept “extended deterrence” in Middle East.
