This policy brief discusses the potential dynamics of Palestinian-Israeli relations in 2012, focusing on the factors which could transform the conflict. The author contends that potential "game changers" include Palestinian diplomatic initiatives, a more receptive international community, and new Arab governments. It is still uncertain, however, whether the Arab uprisings will energise local dynamics in Palestine.
