Following the EU-India Summit, this policy review discusses the growing political momentum towards a stronger EU-India partnership. The summit delivered agreements to enhance cooperation on security, energy and innovation. The conclusion of the EU-India trade deal, however, was postponed. The author argues that the partnership remains shallow on regional and global issues, including on major geopolitical concerns such as Iran.
