This roundtable report summarizes the proceedings of the SDA's October 2005 conference on European space policies. The panelists discuss Europe's space-based security needs and the outlook for financing Europe's space ambitions; the role of dual-use space technologies and systems; and the political and industrial mechanisms available to European policy makers to help the space community develop both defense and civil security applications.
