This paper discusses the possibilities for NATO involvement in the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. It portrays the debate between those who support NATO's involvement in this conflict and those who are against it, and explains the major reasons behind NATO's traditional reluctance to play a constructive role in the Middle East peace process. The paper further explores the possibility of a potential role for NATO in the peace process, citing different possibilities and risks pertaining to this role, and ending with a set of conclusions and recommendations regarding future prospects.
