This volume collects a series of contributions discussing issues related to environmental problems in China. Water management, air pollution, the waste situation and soil degradation are only a few of the issues discussed. The volume also contains some case studies presenting environmental NGOs in China and it explores some examples of technical cooperation between Chinese and Western actors to develop a greener economy.
