This brief announces the Republic of Cyprus' deceleration of Cypriot Maronite Arabic as a recognized minority language and calls for more efforts to expedite its revival. The author calls for non-state actors to support the government in this effort as well as the involvement of the international community in the struggle to protect the endangered language.
