This brief is focused on how to further engage women in the UN Peace Building Commission (PBC) and the role Norway has in advocating for women's rights in its second term on the PBC. The author calls on the PBC to take more measures to ensure gender equality including increased financing and the proportion of women decision makers in governance institutions. The report presents Norway as being in a position to take the lead in confronting these issues.
