This meeting report presents a synthesis of the roundtable discussions on reform options for international environmental governance in the context of the upcoming United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development known as Rio+20. First, conversation around the process of reform looked toward Rio+20 and how best to ensure progress in June. In this context, two questions arose: What should states and policymakers see as ideal? And how does this relate to organizational management, in terms of both the normative and operational aspects of international environmental governance?
