This paper concerns the Lebanese rebellion of 2005 and the power structures that took shape after the conflict. Dubbed the "the Ceder Revolution", key events included the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri, the departure of pro-Syrian Prime Minister Rashid Karami and President Emile Lahoud, and the fall of Sa'ad Hariri's government.
