The study assesses how the NATO Strategic Concept and other initiatives launched at the November 2010 NATO Lisbon summit might affect the United States European Command (EUCOM) and its future. The author argues that EUCOM needs to regain domestic support in the hopes of continuing its work of training forces that fight alongside US forces and procuring allied assets that reduce demand for US materials.
