This journal promotes discussion on a variety of international human rights issues, addressing the challenging yet vital nature of the work. The first group of articles provide a general overview of the state of human rights highlighting the application of international law, massive violations of these laws, as well as the effects on the discriminated disabled and LGBT communities. The next four documents provide a critical evaluation of human rights work, placing a special focus on economic, social, and cultural rights, while evaluating the future opportunities and challenges that face this work. The journal concludes with an interview with Rindai Chipfunde-Vava, Director of the Zimbabwe Election Support Network and a report on the IX International Human Rights Colloquium.
