This journal is themed around the problems relating to the human rights of refugees and migrants. The first four articles deal more generally with universal human rights, addressing subjects like torture, rape, the rights in indigenous peoples, and adoption policy. The following five texts focus on the plight of the millions of migrants and refugees who find themselves in dire situations in many countries around the world. The authors discuss dealing with mixed migrant populations, migrants from a security perspective, internally displaced peoples, migrants access to health care, and migrant controls.
