Two main issues are addressed in this journal: the indivisibility and the universality of human rights. The first three articles deal with human rights subjects like prisons in Africa, the expression of suffering, and unintended consequences of human rights advocacy. The next four articles are more focused on the progress since the Universal Deceleration of Human rights, challenging this process with issues like poverty, economic and social rights, and the body created to deal with them.
