This issue seeks to understand the role of the Costitutional Courts in India, Brazil and South Africa in the promotion and protection of human rights. The study also takes into account the role of civil society and public interest law organizations in their court-related interventions. It focuses on topics such as the rule of law, inequality in the application of rule of law, judiciaries involvement in politics, affirmative action, child witnesses, copyright laws and education, and finally systemic poverty.
