This issue focuses the rights on indigenous peoples in the broader context of human rights in the Global South. It includes articles discussing the justiciability of indigenous population rights, the application of these rights versus global interests like oil companies, human rights and development approaches, pharmaceutical companies and the equal access to drugs, government/NGO projects aimed at reducing poverty and increasing human rights and a compartive study on three different system of protection of human rights.
