This report features a comprehensive overview and summary of international terrorist activities through sections dedicated to country reports, state sponsors of terrorism, weapons of mass destruction terrorism, terrorist safe havens, and terrorist organizations. The Country Report on Terrorism is published annually by the US Department of State in compliance with Title 22 of the United States Code. The US Code requires the Department of State to provide Congress with a full and complete annual report on terrorism and activities by terrorist groups for those countries and groups meeting the criteria of the Act.
