This paper examines the scenario brought about by the Southern Common Market and Korea in studying the feasibility of a Free Trade Agreement (FTA). Furthermore, the authors point out the problems that make this sort of commercial agreements difficult to achieve. Lastly, they suggest another form of economic integration that could be considered more convenient and viable than an FTA in the current scenario: a Preferential Trade Agreement.
