This testimony addresses US visa policy and legislation meant to balance the security concerns of visa processing with the flow of tourism to the US. The author contends that the US needs a broader package of legislation that includes expanding the Visa Waiver Program and encourages more efficient visa security screening. He advocates for the adoption of the 'Welcoming Business Travelers and Tourists to America Act of 2011,' arguing that this law would promote job creation by addressing inefficiencies in the visa processing system.
