This commentary discusses the apparent absence of an "Obama Doctrine" with regard to foreign policy. The author argues that although Obama should be credited for rejecting doctrinaire diplomacy, the Iraq War was such a negative experience that the idea of “no more Iraqs” could ironically itself become a dangerously dogmatic position.
