This is a transcript of a book presentation by Nobel Laureate Joseph Stiglitz. Stiglitz argues that much of the wealth is related to activities that are connected to getting a larger share of the national pie, rather than increasing the size of the national pie. In his book, he describes the magnitude of the resulting inequality in American society, its causes and the consequences that go beyond the American economy itself.
