Publication

This publication features two articles discussing workshop seminars hosted by the NDC in October and November 2005. The first examines NATO and EU post-conflict reconstruction operations. It aims to evaluate the main problems and achievements of such operations and assess lessons learned from operations in Afghanistan in particular. The second article addresses the challenges facing both NATO and Russia in conducting joint peace support operations, and explores what instruments could be used to increase the interoperability of NATO and Russian forces for joint peace support operations.
