This report contains the proceedings of a conference on the information revolution in Europe. The conference sought to examine the American-centric view of the information revolution and, by doing so, broaden understanding of the information revolution in Europe and the world. Discussions centered on the technological, economic, social and governmental dimensions of the information revolution as well as on issues such as intellectual property and the negative effects of the IT revolution.
