This report describes how the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) addressed specific 9/11 Commission recommendations during the first ten years after the terrorist attacks. While challenges remain, the Department continues to focus on minimizing risks while maximizing the ability to respond and recover from attacks and disasters of all kinds.
