This officially issued document features detailed information on the military doctrine of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic (ACR). The aim of the ACR's doctrine is to create the conditions for a common understanding of contemporary combat principles, to establish the likely character of future operational environments, and to anticipate the likely ACR force deployments under such conditions. The purpose of the doctrine is to provide military professionals and political representatives of the Czech Republic a general framework for planning and preparing the armed forces for military operations in times of peace, crisis, or war. The doctrine is an official expression of ACR strategic thought.
