This paper discusses the situation of ethnic minorities in Myanmar. The author argues that the country is at the doors of a political change and stability which has eluded for over two decades. However, the gravest challenge Myanmar faces in the process of nation-building is integrating the ethnic minorities of the country in the mainstream.
