This report provides a summary of the issues discussed at the second annual 'Inside China' conference held by the IPCS in New Delhi. These included the upcoming leadership transition in China and its impact on the domestic politics and democratic undercurrents in the country; the state of nationalist discourse; information monopoly as a factor of social unrest; and China’s relations with its periphery.
