This report provides an overview of 2011 development activities carried out by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO). Poverty reduction remains the top priority of Swiss development cooperation, while other global challenges including climate change, food security, water scarcity, inadequate health care, migration, and economic and financial instability are also areas of focus for Swiss international development cooperation. The report also includes a statistical annex on Swiss official development assistance as well as the use of funds dedicated to international cooperation by the SDC and SECO.
