Publication

This special issue of the AJCR focuses on the African Union (AU) on the occasion of the its ten-year anniversary. The articles included within contain frank descriptions and discussions of problems, policies and procedures, such as analysis of the AU peace and security regime, the relationship between the AU and the New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD), and the AU's diaspora diplomacy. It also includes articles on AU interventionism in the Horn of Africa, AU responses to crises in Côte d’Ivoire and Libya, and the Union’s experience in facilitating peaceful power transfers.
