In this Theory Talk, Immanuel Wallerstein explains why capitalism is worn out, and why political events from 1968 are more important than those from 1945 or 1989. He also elaborates on why we need to overcome artificial divorces between different arenas in social sciences and, more generally, between philosophy and science.
