This bulletin offers insights into the development of the European Endowment for Democracy (EED), a grant-making organization that aims to encourage democratization and support deep and sustainable democracy. Its objectives, geographical scope, and financing are discussed as well as its governing bodies and potential future challenges. The author further offers a range of recommendations for Poland as the initial proponent of the EED, including the creation of a collation of member states that will be actively involved in managing the EED and provide it with funds on a regular basis, and the improvement of operational models.
