This document provides insights into Cambodian national defense objectives, along with an assessment of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) reform. It highlights the role of the RCAF in promoting Cambodia’s international prestige through participation in peace and humanitarian missions within the framework of United Nations requests. It also addresses Cambodia’s need to address major non-traditional issues that threaten national security and development such as international terrorism and transnational crime.
